Thailand being mostly tropical is humid throughout the year with average temperature ranging from 28 to 35°C; the peaks are where you can go for unwinding. The most excellent time to head to Thailand is throughout the dry season, which lasts from November to April. While, in the north, you will just require to pack a sweater if trekking in the mountains, where temperatures can drop as low as 5°C. It's the best time to explore, particularly near Christmas, New Year, or Chinese New Year, some weeks after. Winter prolongs from November until the end of February, the temperatures are at their lowest, and it doesn't rain much, although you will hardly see the difference in the south.
