Rich Hippy Travel is excited to offer an Internship position for aspiring Travel Consultants. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about travel to gain hands-on experience in the travel industry. As an intern, you will assist our team in creating and managing bespoke travel experiences for our clients.
Responsibilities:
• Assist Travel Consultants in planning and organising travel itineraries.
• Research travel destinations, accommodations, and activities.
• Communicate with travel vendors and partners to gather information and confirm bookings.
• Provide support in managing client inquiries and arrangements.
• Help maintain and update client records and travel documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving travel services.
• Support marketing efforts by creating engaging travel content for social media and blogs.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Tourism, Hospitality, Business, Marketing).
• Strong interest in travel and knowledge of various destinations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office and online research tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Previous experience in the travel industry is a plus but not required.
Duration:Â 3-6 months
Compensation:Â This is an unpaid apprenticeship, but there may be opportunities for commissions on sales and potential for full-time employment upon completing the apprenticeship.
